Cause&Effect

After an exhausting workday Jim was coming back home longing for a hot shower and tempting dinner from China restaurant. However he didn’t expect for fate to make him a witness of such unpleasant incident.
He stood still being appalled by the horrible sound of curving iron and more frightful scream arisen somewhere around. He coerced himself into opening eyes and going out the car. There were a bus and a taxi in the middle of the road. Vehicles were broken, passengers were already standing outside shaking in their shoes, somebody was crying, and two men were driving each other mad. Jim glanced at the pieces of glass and a puddle of reddish blood; there was an attractive young woman lying on the ground, and our hero recognized his wife by the dress she had on. Unfortunately, she was lifeless.
The thing is, the lady was crossing the road in the forbidden place and time, and was knocked down by two cars at the same time. The repercussions were evident.
A sheer fury egged Jim on the idea that he has to retaliate. The perception of loss prompted him to act. It was a momentary brain fog. There was no motive of sparking new problem off; there was no need to boil down to vengeance. However, Jim as one who adored and worshiped his Carrie more than life overreacted to her death so he jumped on the road to altercated drivers to commit a reprisal against them, but was hit by the car. The outcome of such event is obvious as well… Jim and Carrie were united again.
